The software is interesting, but the reliability of the hardware is very questionable in my experience. Personally, I will no longer invest any money in NI Hardware products. All I hope is that this replacement keyboard can last a few years. With the same smart and efficient logic, you can now directly access the Analog Lab 3 sound categories from the controller. I had to send the device to California, It’s been a little over a month and I’m still waiting for a refurbished or new keyboard, I don’t know, because I haven’t been given any details at this subject. It’s a keyboard that cost me CA$1100 with taxes. The breakage occurred after 1 year and 3 months. NI came to the conclusion that I had to return the device and that it would be replaced. I made all the necessary steps and tests with Native Instrument to try to find the problem. One day when I booted up my system, the keyboard was blacked out, unusable. I bought a Komplete Kontrol S61, 1 year and 4 months ago. I consider that he has done me a very good service. What a shameĪnd finally, this is now a feature request actually to have a proper Cubase DAW mode please.I had a Novation Impulse for years, over 10 years before it started sending MIDI Pitch Bend and Modulation randomly. When using the new MIDI Remote setup, turning each of the encoders creates a new icon for that particular knob.

My system is Windows 11 Pro, Cubase 12 Pro and a Focusrite 18i8 Scarlett 2nd gen audio interface. It is a complex controller with a lot of functionality.
Had to revert back to my previous setup using mackie HUI instead of Cubase in DAW mode. Like many others, I’m having trouble mapping my MIDI controller keyboard. (Are we all forced to use Ableton to make use of these standard features I wonder.)
Youtube Arturia Keylab MK2 instruction videos were showing "Click Next/Previous Buttons" where leds were lighting up when the lady pressed these buttons and selected tracks higher than 9-.but this does not happen in Cubase. All I've done was to follow steps in the instructions.ģ- Tracks after 1-8 is still cannot be selected. Things got worse when followed the instructions on the link:ġ- Had more transport control button lights functioning before in Mackie HUI mode but with the suggested settings all I get was the Stop transport button light (Mackie Control with added commands)Ģ- Midi In signal is distrupted and now not working for Keylab MKII 49 (Not MIDIIN2 one) although I haven't made any changes to that port. I have conducted all steps one by one şn the link you have provided but apparently everyone is focused on Ableton and noone uses Cubase on the Arturia side. I found a workaround in Youtube where I set DAW mode to Standard HUI and select Mackie HUI in Cubase for Remote Devices butĪ) I can't figure out why I need to use an alternative mode while there is a Cubase DAW mode embeddedī) Even in the workaround I'm using transfor controls are active as with select/fader/knops but I cannot select track numbers beyond 1-8 as in Arturia's Youtube videos since Next, previous buttons do not function properly. Cannot use transport nor Track select/slider/fader/knobs. Am I the only Keylab 49 MK2 owner who cannot use Cubase with preset Cubase DAW mode? When I enter Cubase DAW mode transport lights light up but nothing functions. I have gone through topics in the forum but could not find an answer to my question.
